Boy Scouts of America

Baileyton UMC has long been the meeting place for Boy Scouts of America Pack & Troop 198. With the completion of the new building, the Church is once again able to offer facilities to the Scouts for their activities.

BOY SCOUT PACK / TROOP 198

Requirements for participation in Boy Scout Pack:  Age 7  or First Grade – Age 18

Pack 198 represents the following schools:  Kepler Elementary in Rogersville, Baileyton Elementary, Ottway Elementary, and West Pines Elementary in Greene County.

For any questions concerning Boy Scout Pack 198, please contact Jan Orazi email:  sjorazi@gmail.com or 423-921-8939 (home phone) 423-285-5189 (cell phone)

Scouting offers many rewarding activities for boys. They have many hands-on projects for active boys such as:  making a pinewood derby car, learning to tie knots, paddle canoes, camping, helping others and more. Scouting helps a young man to become a knowledgeable and capable adult.
