Middle School Youth Group

What is Middle School Youth Group?

An opportunity for our middle school youth to gather together on a weekly basis to socialize, learn, serve others, and explore together who God is and what it means to live as people of faith.

Who is it for?

6th, 7th and 8th Graders

What do we do?

The activities planned are a balance between fun outings and service-oriented projects. Some of our “fun outings” include the overnight camping trip at the Holmes Presbyterian Center, sleepovers at the church, Halloween adventures, volleyball, scavenger hunts and game nights. Some of our “service-oriented projects” include volunteering at the Food Pantry, Souper Bowl of Caring, Midnight Runs, caroling and planting flowers at the group homes in Bedford, and fundraisers.

When do we meet?

We usually meet on Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 6 pm, which includes having dinner together. However, there will be activities planned at other times during the week.

Do we need parent volunteers to help?

Yes!!!! Volunteers are needed to chaperone outings, help organize events and provide meals. As members and friends of Bedford Presbyterian Church we agree to teach our children. If you would like to volunteer please contact Kathy DiBiasi, Director of Educational Ministries or Mistie Eltrich, Chair of the Christian Education Committee.
