Working closely with children in our Sunday school program as a volunteer for more than 5 years led me to my current position as Director of Educational Ministries. After some soul searching and careful consideration I accepted this position in August 2007. My professional experience in the corporate world has led itself to working closely with people in sales, marketing, teaching or training capacity. Adding children to this mix filled the missing piece in my life. I have loved being involved in our children and youth programs knowing that I am a stable figure in their lives.
Prior to having my two beautiful children I was an Account Vice President in Member Relations at MasterCard International in Purchase, NY. I hold a BS in Finance and Math from Virginia Tech. My other passion is acting, having been involved both onstage and off with community theatres in the area. We are a fun and creative bunch here at BPC!
My husband Peter is a Senior Risk Manager at GE and enjoys coaching our children in soccer, baseball and basketball. Our children, Peter and James, attend BedfordVillageElementary school. I feel blessed to be able to live and work in the community of Bedford.
