Children of all ages are welcome in any of our worship serivces. In our 10:45 sanctuary service, we have "Moments for All God's Children." During this time 3 year olds through 1st graders are invited to the front of the sanctuary for a short lesson related to the day's worship theme. They are then invited to return to their parents or to go out to Children's Church.
Our Children's Church is designed to be its own worship experience during which each child learns and practices many of the elements of worship. We utilize the Good Shepherd curriculum written by Rev. Brenda J. Stobbe, a United Methodist Pastor. The curriculum focuses on teaching children to be biblically, theologically and liturgically literate while each child develops emotionally with positive reinforcements and develops spiritually through their own natural affinity to wonder and praise. Our primary goal is to encourage children to meet God, to wonder, to work and to respond within the realm of their relationship to God.

Our team of dedicated and trained storytellers and our "Loving Hands" assistants (parents of age 3-1st grade parents) lead the weekly sessions. Our Children's Church Schedule is sent out twice a year and each parent will have the opportunity to be a Loving Hands assistant 2-4 times per year. The Loving Hands assistants help the chldren line up outside the classroom, provide assistance to quiet the children during the story by simply resting their hands on the child's back, and assist with the children's work like painting, coloring and retelling the stories. At the conclusion of the time, Loving Hands parents assist with room clean-up and putting away supplies.
Our children's church is designed to prepare each child for worship and a life-long relationship with God.
