Dr. Dan Dickerson, a 1965 graduate of Midland High School, now pastors the church he attended as a high school student. Before coming to Calvary in 1979, Dr. Dickerson ministered as a youth pastor in Denver, Colorado. There, he and his wife, Cheryl, started their family made up of four boys. They were married in 1969.

 

Dr. Dickerson received both his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Bob Jones University and in May of 1998 was awarded the Doctor of Sacred Ministries degree from Northland Baptist Bible College.

 

Pastor Mike Reece has been the Calvary Baptist Academy Administrator since 1978. Pastor Reece holds a Bible degree from the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, a B.S. degree in education from Central Michigan University and a M.A. in Educational Administration from Pensacola Christian College. He is a current doctoral candidate at Bob Jones University.

 

He and his wife Jeanie have four children. Concerning his family and CBC, Pastor Reece says, "Calvary is a great place to raise a family. There is a ministry here for every member of a family. From newborns to senior citizens, Calvary ministers to all."

 

 Pastor Mark Daniel Dickerson, Jr. grew up at Calvary Baptist Church and upon graduation from Calvary Baptist Academy, he and his wife, Danelle, both graduated from Bob Jones University. In 1995, Pastor Mark Dickerson and Danelle moved to Jacksonville, Florida where Pastor Mark spent three years as a Youth Pastor at Victory Baptist Church. In 1999, Pastor Mark and Danelle moved back to Midland and joined the staff as Youth Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church.

 

Like most youth pastors, Pastor Mark enjoys virtually all sports! Pastor Mark graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in Bible in 1996. He and Danelle have three sons, Mark Daniel, III Matthew David, Caleb, and one daughter, Caitlyn.

 

Pastor David has been on staff at CBC since September of 2003. He has a B.A. in Youth Ministries and a M.A. in Counseling.

 
Pastor David is a graduate of CBA and was ordained at CBC in 1998. From 1997 to 1999 he was the Youth Pastor at Temple Heights Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida and from 1999 to 2002 he was a family counselor at Boysville of Michigan. He and his wife, Maria, have 3 children, twins, Kirsten Hailey and Brendan Victor born 2/18/2004 and Carson David born on April 16, 2007. 

Pastor Kris Stephens oversees all music ministries in the church and CBA. He grew up in a pastor’s home in Colorado where he graduated from HS in 1990 from Faith Baptist School, Longmont, CO.

 

He then went on to Bob Jones University where he earned both his Bachelors degree in Church Music in 1995 and his Masters in Bible in 2004 while serving as Music/Youth Pastor at Grace Bible Church in Moore, SC from 1998-2004. He was ordained at Grace in June of 2004. While at BJU he met his wife Andrea. They were married in 1996 and have 2 children, Emma Rose and Olivia Kathryn.
