Pray for our deacon of the week, Greg Neeb. Along with being a deacon, Greg is a table leader in the Abundant Living Sunday School Class. Greg and his wife Mary have three children: Ben, Timothy, and Anna. Greg and Mary live at 2865 E. Stewart in Midland.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you for you prayers and kind expressions of sympathy during these days following my mother’s homegoing. Truly the Lord was merciful as she slipped peacefully into His presence, our God of all comfort. Your gift of Gideon Bibles is appreciated. It is a befitting memorial to both our faithful Lord and Mother. Through the sharing of scripture, He spoke to her heart and brought her to himself. How grateful we are to all of you who have asked about her and prayed over the years (Phil 1:3).

Thank you so much for the opportunity to present my ministry to your church and for the generous gift you gave to help with my ministry. I thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship, and I believe the Lord helped me to accomplish a great deal of ministry there. Thank you also for the many ways in which you ministered to me. Awana:
Calling all kids! Awana is starting very soon. Make sure to be here Wednesday, September 10th between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for our Registration Open House and the following Wednesday, September 17th for the first night of clubs. See you then!

Lost Organ Book:
If you have seen a file folder containing several Favorites music books for organ, please contact Vi Rea at 631-2594. It was left on the front pew on the organ side of the sanctuary last Sunday.
