Missionary Update: Lisa, Michael, Carson, and Blake in Canada
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your prayers for us these past months.
Blake was cruising along until a week and a half ago. He was not tolerating his feeds and around his feeding times his oxygen level would drop. They put him back in an isolette for a few days and gave him some air flow through nasal prongs. They surmised he had an infection so they ran some tests and gave him an antibiotic. However, all the tests came back negative. It could be that he simply wanted the air flow again, that he had an infection they could not pinpoint, or that he is allergic to something in Lisa's milk. He is out of the isolette and off the air flow now. He appears to be thriving again. Please keep praying.
The best news is that Blake is now 5 lbs. 14 oz.!
Lisa continues to gain strength little by little. It's remarkable how well she is doing.
The church continues to help out with meals and cleaning the house.
We had a very snowy and cold April (I think it snowed 9 days in April--one of the storms dumped 9 inches) but the trees are finally budding out and the grass is turning green.
On the church front, please pray for some unbelievers who visited on Easter and heard the good news.
