Joining Central

If you are interested in becoming a member of Central, we would love to have you join us. It is our desire that our visitors receive all the information necessary in order to make a prayerful decision about church membership. We also desire to assist new members in connecting in your new church family, to encourage spiritual growth, and to prepare them for ministry.

Membership

Any person may join Central if they have:

1) Made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives

2) Been baptized by immersion after accepting Christ

3) Attended a New Member Workshop

The Steps to Membership

-Membership Orientation-

At the end of each worship service is an invitation where prospective members can come forward. After the invitation, prospective members will be introduced and then escorted to a short New Member Orientation. At the New Member Orientation, they will receive information concerning membership and a member orientation host will counsel them regarding their salvation experience and assurance thereof. Also, they will fill out a short information card to be added to our church database.

New Member Workshop

One Wednesday night every other month, Central will offer a New Member Workshop. At this workshop, prospective members will be given an overview of the beliefs and ministries of our church. At this workshop, the new members will meet the church staff and hear them share about their ministry opportunities. They will be encouraged to get involved in a Bible study and an area of service.

The next New Member Workshop will be on Wednesday, January 25th, at 7:00 p.m. (after the evening service) in The Fellowship Room. Please reserve childcare by Wednesday, January 11th.
