Something New?

Rev. Bruce Southworth
Senior Minister

As part of our celebrations of Universal Religion, we turn to Judaism’s New Year and the Days of Awe now at hand. We are invited into its perennial themes of quiet personal reflection and self-assessment, reconciliation, forgiveness, renewal, and rededication.

See you at Community!

Living with Hope and Courage: Wounded Healers

September 11, 2016
Homecoming Sunday

Rev. Bruce Southworth

…How do we live with resilience amid the small and large heartaches?

Accepting pain as part of the miracle of the gift of Life in our personal journeys… such appreciative awareness… conspires with hope, courage, and community. We “go on in love and tears” (Lee Bridges) ….

This morning on the 15th anniversary of 9/11, we recall that day with sorrow and resilience, courage and hope.

It is also our Homecoming Sunday, a new season of our life together.
