Welcome to Coronado Community UMC’s (CCUMC) youth fellowship.
We exist to provide a fun environment to build friendships and to disciple young people in their Christian walk. Our youth ministry is broken into two age groups with different activities for each group that are specific to that stage of life.
High School
High School activities are for all youth 9th grade through 12th grade. Meetings are weekly on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The youth group meetings consist of playing ultimate frisbee and volleyball followed by dinner and a devotional time. The High School youth group also does a number of service projects throughout the year and an annual out of country mission project during the summer. Middle School
Middle School activities are for all youth 6th grade through 8th grade. Meetings are weekly on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. CCUMC will pick up Middle School students after school at New Smyrna Beach Middle School during the academic year. Students need to have a Notarized Medical Release Form form filled out, signed by their guardian, and notarized to ride the CCUMC bus from NSBMS to the church for youth group (the form is good for the entire school year). Middle School youth group meetings consist of playing games and sports like basketball, volleyball, and skating with a devotional time and snacks. The Middle School youth group also does a number of service projects and other fun activities throughout the year including a summer mission project in Florida.
