Fairhaven - The Place for Teens

The youth ministry at Fairhaven is a great experience for each and every teen! With caring youth workers, strong Bible teaching, and positive peer pressure, young people are encouraged to be all they should be for the Lord!

Sunday School

Each Sunday morning over 100 teenagers come together from all over the area to be taught the Word of God. Besides the fun games that are played and choruses that are sung, a Bible lesson is taught that deals with issues facing teenagers today.

Weekly Activities

Most every week on Tuesday evenings there is an activity time for teenagers. Not only are there fun activities but there are opportunities for soul-winning, serving local seniors, and even a yearly food drive for the needy.

Special Retreat and Trips

At times during the year the youth group takes special retreats and trips. In the past the youth have participated in mission trips to Mexico, week-long trips to various parts of the United States, and short retreats to encourage spiritual growth. Friendships formed on these trips often last a lifetime!

TnT

To be a help to those teens who attend via our bus ministry, we have implemented a program entitled "Teens on Target." Each Saturday a select group of teens come together for a time of teaching and Bible study. There are exciting incentives provided for these teens to finish each level of the program. They also have an opportunity to sing in the TnT choir.
