Purpose - Fellowship

Fellowship is developing a dependence on God and on each other.

Ways in which you can join others through fellowship at First Baptist Church:

Celebrate Recovery – Celebrate Recovery is offered for anyone who seeks support in dealing with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups.  CR meets every Thursday evening in the Large Fellowship Hall on the lower level of the church for fellowship, worship and support.

Newcomers Luncheon – Held quarterly for newcomers, including first time guests, along with new and perspective members. This event is hosted by the ministerial staff, and is served by the Hospitality Team. It includes a complimentary and catered lunch and an opportunity to meet the ministerial staff and their families. Furthermore, it provides newcomers a chance to hear from the ministers in regards to their role in the church’s leadership, along with the collective vision of the entire ministerial staff.

Greeters/Welcome Team -- Our Greeters or Welcome Team Ministry exists to welcome everyone who attends any Sunday morning activities, and also for special events. Greeters are stationed at key entrances to the church campus, including all main entrances, parking lot, and at the Guests Services - Welcome Center. They also serve in the capacity of escorts, by escorting guests to appropriate areas like the Nursery, Children’s Wing, or an ABF, etc.

Baptism -- The Baptism Ministry Team makes the necessary arrangements and provides assistance for the ordinance of baptism.

Recreation -- The Recreation Ministry Team plans and directs various recreational activities sponsored by the church.
