Director of Children's Ministries
My name is Christine Sarros and I’m the Director of Children's Ministries. I have the wonderful privilege of overseeing ministries for children from birth through 4th grade. I love being able to say I began attending FBCG while I was still in my mother’s womb, so FBCG has been a major contributor to my spiritual growth. I graduated from Taylor University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a math major. I taught junior high math for nine years until I “retired” to have my own children. In 1993 I received a phone call from the then pastor of FBCG asking me to be the new Director of Christian Education (all ages). After much prayer and the realization of God’s call, I accepted. My role quickly changed to Children’s Ministries, where I have been ever since. I adore children and can’t think of anything more rewarding than having a part in the development of their eternal life and their relationship with Jesus Christ. I am married and live in Geneva with my husband Danny and our youngest son, Shane, who is 18. We also have two grown children, Ryan 26 and Julie 23.
