College Moms in Prayer (Mothers of College Students)
This ministry consists of groups of 4-6 moms of college students meeting in one another's homes once a month for prayer and refreshments. They pray for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of their students, as well as issues relating to their schools, and they pray for each other. These groups are a source of support and encouragement to the moms, and are also a blessing to their children, as God answers their prayers. New groups are formed in early fall, but those interested may join a group at any time throughout the year. There were 15 groups meeting last year. Groups are formed somewhat geographically and according to availability for a day or evening group. Most groups are comprised mainly of FBCG women, but any college mom is invited to join.
