Not long ago I had the joy of holding my friend's newborn baby in my arms. With awe and wonder I looked at this little one day old miracle in front of me. Just imagine how that baby will grow in the months and years ahead! Some of that growth will be by leaps and bounds, but most of the time it’ll be step by step--whether she’s learning to crawl, walk, run or ride a bike. Our spiritual growth is the same way. Whether we’re newborn believers or have enjoyed years of following Christ, growing as a disciple is typically a step by step process.
Our Women’s Ministries theme for this year is “Step by Step” with the accompanying verse Jeremiah 6:16, “Stand at the crossroads and look…ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” Babies are miracles…and so are changed lives.
