First Baptist Church of Morrow has enjoyed a rich history of participation in service through affiliation with various organizations, institutions, and agencies over the course of the past century. As a people committed to being the presence of Christ in our world, we recognize the opportunities and challenges that confront us in carrying out our work and the need to share with others in those efforts.
With regard to denominational partnerships, First Baptist Church of Morrow is committed to allowing its members the freedom to choose which bodies receive their support. The vast majority of our members identify themselves with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, while there are some who identify themselves with the Southern Baptist Convention. The key in our denominational partnering is that every member is free to choose where his or her personal convictions about serving God and God’s people fit best in living out our mission of Embracing the World with Hope.
At the state and local level, First Baptist Church of Morrow works closely with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia in educating, equipping, and serving God’s people. We also maintain ties to the Georgia Baptist Convention and South Metro Baptist Association.
