Hello, my name is Risha Bracken I am your Blessed Beginnings Preschool Director. I joined BBP in May of 2007. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ everyday for my job where I’m able to share, learn and grow in His word. I am originally from the Bay Area. I have over 10 years of experience in Directing children programs. I’m married to a wonderful husband and we have 3 children. Our oldest son Tyreese is 11 years old and going into the sixth grade. We are blessed with twins Noah and Elias, that currently attend BBP. During my spare time I love to spend it with family, travel and play games. Hello, My name is RoseAnn, and I am the Blessed Beginnings Preschool Office Assistant. I have been at Blessed Beginnings for 3 years. I am the proud wife to my husband John and a proud mother to my son Ryan. My son Ryan graduated First Baptist Christian School and is currently attending Jim Elliott High School in Lodi. My name is Lisa Taylor, I currently live in Manteca and I’m furthering my education by attending Modesto Junior College. I have worked with children for eight years and have volunteered with children for eleven years. I have been with Blessed Beginnings for a year and am the new Toddler Class Teacher, I enjoy working with children and seeing their development grow. On my free time I like to spend time with family and friends.

Hi, my name is Andrea Martinez, I’m better known as Ms. Andrea or for most of the kids Ms. Drea. I have now been working with children for a year and a half. I feel God has blessed me by allowing me to work at a Christian School. A place where I can pray and share about his word throughout my day, I am currently attending Delta College. I have a large wonderful family, I am second to the youngest of four unique girls, and I have an amazing little brother, who inspires and pushes me forward in life each day.

My name is Brenda Alvarez-Muñoz and I was born and raised in Lodi, California. I am the youngest for four girls in a close knit family. Being one of over 50 cousins and still counting I feel I have been prepared for everything I encounter day to day. We as a family have been raised to stand strong and know everything is possible through our faith. I was born and baptized as a Catholic and was born again at the age of 13 in a Baptist Church. It is for this reason that I am so happy to be apart of the First Baptist Christian School Family, I have worked here for 2 years, I desired to be a part of something that is so important, something that will affect the lives of the children in my care. I believe we at Blessed Beginnings are a very crucial step to the success of a child not only for kindergarten but in life.

Hi! My name is Heather Diaz and I am Ms. Brenda’s Teacher’s Aide in the two’s class. I have been working with children for two years now and I love it. Every day is a new day, nothing is ever the same. I’ve been surrounded by kids my whole life: cousins, neighbors, church, and babysitting. But it was not until I started at Blessed Beginnings that I realized that this was the place for me. Currently, I am attending classes at Delta College to further my understanding of children. |

My name is Laura Alvarez-Muñoz; I have worked with Blessed Beginnings for just over two years, but have worked with kids for eight years. While attending Lodi High I worked at an after school program for disadvantage kids, and after graduation I worked in a Family Child Care Center. But it was not until I began working for First Baptist Christian Schools that I felt like this is what I was meant to do. I love being able to teach children about the infallible word of God. I am currently the Young Three’s Teacher and the Assistant Director here at Blessed Beginnings. I work with Ms. Andrea in Room 108, we have worked together since February 2008 and I believe we work really well together. We believe it is our responsibility to make this a fun and exciting learning experience for your child. I have a large family and am the second of four girls, which can be quiet interesting. I am the proud Auntie to a nephew and two nieces. My parents are hard working people and always told us that with God all things are possible.

Hi my name is Virginia Leabo, better known as Ms. Virginia. It is a blessing for me to be a staff member of Blessed Beginnings Preschool. Working with children has always been my passion which was a factor in my desire to teach. Many years of classroom volunteering prepared me for my decision to further my education at SJ Delta College. I have been with Blessed Beginnings since early 2007, in the Older Three’s Classroom. I am from a large family: nine sisters and four brothers and was born in Illinois. I am a widow of 10 years; I was blessed to travel with my husband, throughout 15 countries with our favorite vacation place being the island of Kauai. With the opportunity to see the world, we saw what God has created. I have two sons, one of which is a teacher and a coach in the Stockton Area and the other is a Computer Engineer in the Bay Area. My three grand-children are the light of my life. I am attending First Baptist Church. My goal is to teach and encourage the children’s growth both educationally and spiritually in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hi! My name is Angela DeLeon, better known as Ms. Angela. I have worked with Blessed Beginnings Preschool since March 2007. I have worked with children of all ages in our program. I am looking forward to this new and upcoming school year. I will be co-teaching with Ms. Haydee for the Pre-K program. I have been married for fourteen years and have three beautiful children, one son and two daughters.

My name is Carrie Griffin, but people around here usually call me Ms. Carrie. I have worked at Blessed Beginnings Preschool for six years, and I have spent most of that time in Pre-K. I have enjoyed going to school and learning about early childhood education and I use the knowledge I have gained here in my class at BBP. While not at work I love spending time with my family, I have two beautiful daughters that attend First Baptist Christian School and am married to my wonderful husband John.

My name is Laura Angelica Avila, but I prefer Angelica, I am 23 years old and have worked with Blessed Beginnings Preschool for 14 months and so far it’s been great. I love working with infants and children and have been doing it for four years and I Love It! I earned my AA Degree at Delta College in 2008 in the field of Early Childhood Education and it was a blast taking those classes. I also have a 6 year old son named Andrew and I am truly blessed to have him. My goal is to be the best I can be with the children I work with and my son. I can’t wait to see what God holds for me in the future.
