Newcomers Class
This class is for anyone who is interested in learning more about the ministries of First Baptist and/or becoming an official member. The class is offered once every three months and covers topics such as the history of First Baptist Church, the leadership structure, the ministries, the doctrine, and the vision of the church. The next class is scheduled for Sunday, August 19, from 12:30-3:30pm in the Chapel. Lunch and childcare are provided with reservations.
Baptism Class
The first step of becoming a true disciple, according to Jesus, was being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20). Baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward change of heart and something every follower of Jesus Christ is commanded to do. You must attend a Baptism Orientation class to enter the waters. The next class will be on Sunday, August 19, immediately following the 9:30 and 11:00 service in the Baptism Meeting Room.
