Rock Solid Sports offers an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for kindergarten through sixth grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. We offer a variety of programs such as junior golf, and Upward Sports which includes soccer, basketball and cheerleading.

 ROCK SOLID BASKETBALL & CHEER CAMP
JUNE 11-15, 2012
Join us for a fun week of Basketball and Cheerleading at the First Baptist Church.
Children entering 1st grade through 8th grade from 9am – 12pm each day.
We will provide drinks and snacks for all the campers. Cost is $50 for the week. Sign up in the Children’s Ministry office or call Crystal at 209 466-4368.

UPWARD SOCCER
 Very exciting Soccer League for boys and girls entering kindergarten through the 8th grade. The season starts in August and runs
through September. Our first evaluation will be on Saturday June 23rd at 9 am at Oak Park. We will meet across from the tennis courts on the softball field grass.
Practice starts on July 21st with our Soccer Clinic Kickoff! Cost for registration and uniform is $85. Registration brochures are in the Children’s Ministry office. For more information call Crystal at 209 466-4368. Come and learn soccer from coaches’ that love kids, soccer and sharing the love of Jesus Christ!

 Junior Golf with The First Tee
First Baptist Church and Rock Solid Sports is partnering with The First Tee for a 9 week tour starting June 9th.
This is a great opportunity for kids 7-17 to learn golf skills and life skills at the same time. TFT coaches, teach golf along with the 9 core values (Honesty – Integrity – Respect – Courtesy – Judgment – Confidence – Responsibility -- Sportsmanship – Perseverance).
We will meet for 9 Saturdays in the morning at Van Buskirk or The Reserve. Girls, there is also an extra meeting time for you! Ask about Golf For Girls.
