Faith Formation

Want to learn more about your faith in Christ? Looking to meet others who are seeking to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and one another? Please take some time to review the many opportunities that First Baptist offers for spiritual growth, connection, and outreach.

Newcomers Class

This class is for anyone who is interested in learning more about the ministries of First Baptist and/or becoming an official member. The class is offered once every three months and covers topics such as the history of First Baptist Church, the leadership structure, the ministries, the doctrine, and the vision of the church. The next class is scheduled for Sunday April 25th from 12:30-3:30pm in the Welcome Center. Lunch and childcare is provided with reservations.

Baptism Class

The first step of becoming a true disciple, according to Jesus, was being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20).  Baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward change of heart and something every follower of Jesus Christ is commanded to do.  You must attend a Baptism Orientation class to enter the waters. The next class will be on Sunday, April 25th immediately following each service in the Conference Room of the Children's Center.

Wednesday Night Bible Studies

Wednesdays are exciting nights for ministry and outreach at First Baptist. There are meetings, studies, and classes for all ages—children, youth, men, women, couples, and leaders. There is something for everyone on Wednesday nights on our campus! For more information click here.
