Our mission is to encourage and enrich the lives of the mature adults in our church and community and to help them grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and one another.

Community Issues:
We invite local speakers to
explain and enlighten us on
issues that are confronting
our seniors’ community.
An example was our special
session with three regional
leaders dealing with Part D
Medicare changes.

Special Services Offered:
DVD Tape Ministry of the 8:00 am Sunday Worship Service for seniors at home or care centers.
Led by Harry Williams and Bob and Marie La Belle.
Minor Home Repairs: Craftsmen for Christ and senior volunteers help with small home repairs. For assistance, please call the church office (466-4368).
Parish Nurse Health Ministries with director Carol Miller, RN: Blood Pressure checks alternate Sunday AM in the Welcome Center. Health Assessments by appointment.

Activities for Seniors

Annual Senior's Luncheon: October 12th at 11:45 am in the Gym.
Great food, fun and fellowship!

Walk Through the Valley: A two part grief seminar led by Pastor Doug for those who have lost loved a one or friend. Session 1- Friday, November 5th, from 7 pm to 9 pm in the Welcome Center. Session 2 - Saturday, November 6th, from 9 am to 12 pm in the Welcome Center.

Chair Dancing Exercise Group led by Eula Butler, RN:
- Monday and Thursday
mornings at 11:30 am
in the Youth Center.

Gad-A-Bout Travel
Opportunities: Joyce Finta prepares special trips both locally and nationally for seniors.
Volunteer Opportunities for Seniors: Sunday school classes, Wed. evenings,
Upward Sports programs,
Parking Lot & Greeting Ministries, MARS (Mature Adult Resource Services), ushering, bereavement assistance and more.
Summer Activities (Monthly): Food, fellowship and special programs.

Mission Trips for Seniors:
“Gleanings for the Hungry” in Sultana, CA(October). Work helping process food to provide for orphans around the world.
