Youth Summer Mission Trip

Sharing Love in La Place

June 15-22, 2013

Cost: $100

The purpose of doing any mission work is to share the love of Christ with others. In this particular context of La Place, LA, we will be sharing Christ’s love by offering hope and healing to those who have been affected by Hurrican Isaac. While it’s hard to say exactly what activities we will be part of in June when we arrive, some of the possibilities include cleaning, gutting, painting, repairing and rebuilding homes. It is to this work we are called as Christians, as 1 John 3:18 tells us: Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
