All Presbyterian USA churches are governed by the Book of Order and Book of Confessions.  Each congregation is governed by a session.  At First Presbyterian Church of Clinton, our session consists of 30 elders elected by the congregation.  Each serving elder is responsible for a particular committee with particular responsibilities.  Congregation members serve on committees at will, offering their specific gifts from God for God.
