The Symphony Guild is a fundraising organization for the Florence Symphony Orchestra. The Guild sponsors a Florence Symphony Orchestra concert each season. Following the concert, the Guild hosts a recognition reception for Symphony Benefactors, Sustaining Contributors, Patrons, and Sponsors. In addition, the Guild often provides scholarships to talented young musicians in the community.
The Taste of the Symphony is perhaps the most anticipated event that the Guild hosts. Each spring, local chefs and musicians are brought together to produce an elegant evening for the community. This year's "Taste" will be April 19, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 10 pm. at Roseneath Farm, 1102 Cherokee Rd. Florence, SC
The Guild meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Florence Country Club at 12 noon. Membership is open to any woman interested in contributing their time to the orchestra. Pat Hannah is the current President.
