The Music Ministry ushers the spirit of the Lord into our worship services through hymns and a variety of songs. Each choir provides musical selections for both worship services (7:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.). The list below, consist of rehearsal days, times of rehearsal, and brief information to peak your interest to serve.
CHANCEL CHOIR – The Chancel Choir is the most tenured choir of the church. This choir serves on the first Sunday of the month, which is Communion Sunday. It is comprised of dedicated men and women of God who wish to sing God’s praises through song. Rehearsal days are the last three Tuesdays of each month and begin at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Ernest Hargrove.
VESSELS OF PRAISE ("Vessels") – The Vessels comprise middle school through college youth to make a joyful sound for the Lord. This youth choir renders high praise on the second Sunday of the month, which is our Friends and Family Sunday. Rehearsal days are the two Fridays before the second Sunday and begin at 7:00 p.m. The youth choir does not provide musical selections during July and August but returns in September of each year.

MEN’S CHOIR – The Men's Choir renders a melody of voices to the Lord on the third Sunday. Rehearsals are Thursday after the first and second Sunday and begin at 7:00 pm.
The Director is Mr. David Sturdivant.
ANGELIC VOICES – The Angelic Voices are comprised of our children with a desire to sing for the Lord. They participate in our worship experience and what a heavenly delight it is to see. Children between the ages of three to 11 provide musical selections at the 11:00 a.m. worship service on third Sunday. Rehearsals are Friday after the first and second Sunday, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Angelic Voices do not sing in June, July, and August; they return to serve the Lord in September.
The Directors are Mr. David Sturdivant and Ms. Michelle Johnson.
GOSPEL CHOIR – The Gospel Choir provides musical selections with robust uplifted voices to our Lord and Savior on the fourth Sunday. Rehearsals are scheduled on Monday after the second and third Sunday beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Director is Ms. Gloria McKenzie-Freeman.
ANOINTED WOMEN’S CHOIR – The Music Ministry was asked to organize a women's choir for Women's Day. The Anointed Women's Choir was formed with the blessing of our shepherd, Reverend Joseph W. Lyles, Pastor. The choir rejoices and sing praises to the Lord on the fifth Sunday and second Sunday during the summer months (July and August). The choir provides musical selections during our Women's Day celebration in October of each year. Rehearsals are scheduled periodically and published in the church announcements and by electronic mail.

MEN OF FAITH – The quartet of harmonious voices magnify the Lord with a variety of "down home" harmony. These men have no designated Sunday, but render musical selections in August and October and on fifth Sundays. For this year, we will be blessed to have them sing in July and October. Rehearsal days and times vary.
The Director is Mr. Phillip Dorroh.
PRAISE & WORSHIP – Talented, committed, and dedicated describe our ministry that opens all worship services with uplifted voices of praise for the congregational worship. The Praise and Worship Ministry opens our services with songs, hymns, and chants to usher the people's hearts into the presence of God. Rehearsal days and times vary.
