We’d like to share a success story with you.  In just over six short weeks we’re happy to say we’re on track to completing step one of being led to a new pastor/head of staff.

Our team has diligently completed the CIF, or Church Information Form.  As a refresher, this document tells our story.  It showcases all the great things that First Pres has to offer. 

Next on the agenda: approvals.  The CIF will go before Session on Monday, February 13.  Upon their blessing, it will proceed to the Commission on Ministry for the Presbytery of Chicago and then on to step two, conducting a broad and thorough search. 

In our next update, the week of February 26, we’ll have very specific details for you on ways that you can help the PNC. 

In the meantime, we ask that you continue to keep our church and the members of the committee in your prayers.
