Kindergarten Program
Kindergarten at Grace Day School is a unique experience. The class is limited to ten students. Extensive hands-on and one-on-one instruction with the use of a variety of media is the hallmark of our kindergarten program.
The curriculum for kindergarten includes Virginia's requirements for the Standards of Learning which cover reading, writing, math, social studies, science, and library. In addition to the Standard of Learning, kindergartners will also learn the actions and language needed to interact positively with other children and adults in various settings and express thoughts and ideas through words, art, play, music, and stories.
