The Mandala Project

The word "mandala" is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean "circle," a mandala is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself--a cosmic diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, the world that extends both beyond and within our bodies and minds.

4th Saturday Women's Drum and Pot Luck
The 4th Saturday gathering is a casual gathering of women who meet monthly on the fourth Saturday of the month (pending schedule changes based on venue avaliability) at 7:00 pm. The gathering typically lasts until about 9:30 pm. Meet at the UUFP (Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Peninsula) at 415 Youngs Mill Lane, in Denbigh (Newport News).
