Music & Worship Ministry
The Music and Worship Ministry of Great Bridge Baptist Church seeks to provide opportunities for believers and seekers to respond to God, opening their spirits to God’s love, feeding their minds with God’s truth, and shaping their wills to God’s purposes.
Worship is our response to God, for all that He is, and all that He has done for us. It is both a command and a privilege. Believers join together in worship - joyfully singing, actively listening, fervently praying and earnestly seeking to know God. Non-believers in attendance at our services will hear the gospel through music and the spoken word, and will be drawn to Christ as He is lifted up.
The music ministry is geared to not only provide music for worship services, but also to teach adults, students and children to use music as both a vehicle of worship and praise, and in outreach to the community and beyond.
Vocal choirs and ensembles, instrumental groups, the church orchestra, praise band, handbell choirs, and a wide range of other opportunities in worship and the arts offer a place for everyone to be involved.
