Spiritual Growth and Christian Formation for All Ages

"Teach them the statutes and instructions and make known to them the way they are to go and the things they are to do. " Exodus 18:20

Our mission is to provide a safe place for personal growth, grounded in Word and Sacrament, in order to develop a community of believers who will proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ Jesus.

We hope you will find a class that meets your needs.  Current offerings are listed below.

Children

"Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs." Mark 10:14

-for Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Graders

We offer a combination of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Godly Play. Our programs are Montessori-based with our classrooms being called “Atriums”. This helps our children better understand the culture during the time Jesus was a child, and when Christianity was developing in the early Church. Our teachers are specially trained to help the children develop personal images of God through experiential learning opportunities. Research shows that children, by working with child-sized models, and learning about prayer and other foundational rituals of the faith, can develop a deep and personal relationship with God at this very malleable stage of their lives. The teachers are fellow discovers with the children.  Back to Children

-Children’s Chapel

Chapel provides an alternative for children, ages 3 through 8, who may not always be ready to sit through the 8:45 or 11:00 a.m. liturgy. This is not considered an alternative to Sunday School but is offered as a ministry to parents who may need the time for worship and personal reflection. Children’s Chapel is a volunteer staffed activity to provide the children a time of sacred play. Children will process to Chapel and will be brought to join their parents for Eucharist at the passing of the Peace. Back to Children

Just what is a Parish Spiral?

+ It's a six week commitment designed to help 8-10 people to get to know each other.
+ Each session is approximately 90 minutes in length.  This allows for both group and social time.
+ During the six weeks, people answer a series of questions, engage in Bible study, pray together, eat together, listen to each other, reflect on their faith journey and have fun.
+ Each Spiral usually has two leaders; couples and individuals make up the group.

Spirals offer us the opportunity to increase fellowship with each other.  They provide a small group environment that is a safe place to invite friends and neighbors to experience Christian Community.

If you are interested in joining a spiral or are just curious, please contact Bob Hirst.
