We Are Disciples

The Habits of Discipleship

Habits are important, prayer being one that brings us into a closer, personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Recently, we focused on the habit of PRAYER using the book that was handed out at Christmas: "A Quiet Place: How Daily Prayer Can Change Your Life".

View the videos about prayer here or on our YouTube channel.

Below are the habits of discipleship.  Come back here often to view them.  Or download them here and save them on your phone or computer!

We Are Disciples

PRAY: A disciple prays alone and with others.

PONDER THE WORD OF GOD: A disciple spends time with the Word of God through reading, prayer, and study.

CELEBRATE THE SACRAMENTS: A disciple celebrates the Sacraments – especially the Eucharist.

LIVE OUR FAITH DAILY: A disciple continues to grow by learning how to demonstrate faith in daily life.

USE OUR GIFTS: A disciple gratefully acknowledges and uses gifts to bring joy and hope to others and to become who God created.

SERVE OTHERS: A disciple continues the mission of Jesus by serving others – especially the last, the lost, the least, and the lonely.
