Birth through 4 years

We`consider children to be a gift from God and we cherish these precious ones.  All Nursery Volunteers must completed a background check and are required to follow standard safety and childcare procedures.

We`ask that the following guidelines be followed in order to help keep our little ones safe and happy:

Feeding

  • Our nursery volunteers will gladly bottle feed the babies in our nursery if the bottles are provided.
  • Our volunteers will not be able to spoon feeed children due to the many needs of other children in the nursery.
  • We will provide cheerios and water to your children as a snack once the they are able to eat solid foods.
Diaper Changing
  • Diapers will be changed once during each service, or more frequently if needed.
  • Nursery volunteers will use diapers found in the child's diaper bag.
  • Volunteers will wash hands after each diaper change and sanitize the changing table.
  • All diapers will be placed in ziplock bags and be disposed of in the trash can.
Health
Keeping children healthy is a top priority.  With this in mind, parents should keep their children home if any of the following conditions are present:
  • Fever (must be fever free without medication for 24 hours)
  • Vomitting or diarrhea for the last 24 hours
  • Unexplained or unusual rash
  • Sore throat or mouth
  • Coughing or sneezing
  • Colored discharge from nose
Parents will be contact immediately if their child shows signs of illness.
