We`consider children to be a gift from God and we cherish these precious ones. All Nursery Volunteers must completed a background check and are required to follow standard safety and childcare procedures.
We`ask that the following guidelines be followed in order to help keep our little ones safe and happy:
Feeding
Our nursery volunteers will gladly bottle feed the babies in our nursery if the bottles are provided.
Our volunteers will not be able to spoon feeed children due to the many needs of other children in the nursery.
We will provide cheerios and water to your children as a snack once the they are able to eat solid foods.
Diaper Changing
Diapers will be changed once during each service, or more frequently if needed.
Nursery volunteers will use diapers found in the child's diaper bag.
Volunteers will wash hands after each diaper change and sanitize the changing table.
All diapers will be placed in ziplock bags and be disposed of in the trash can.
Health Keeping children healthy is a top priority. With this in mind, parents should keep their children home if any of the following conditions are present:
Fever (must be fever free without medication for 24 hours)
Vomitting or diarrhea for the last 24 hours
Unexplained or unusual rash
Sore throat or mouth
Coughing or sneezing
Colored discharge from nose
Parents will be contact immediately if their child shows signs of illness.
