Extended School Supervision (E.S.S.)

E.S.S. is a program allowing your child to stay after school (with supervision) and to participate in activities when you are not able to pick them up at the end of the school day. We have a structure the program for both fun and educational purposes.  Each day may vary in activities but gym time and outside playground time (weather permitting) is available every day. We also provide a quiet environment for students that need time to complete their homework assignments.

Throughout the week, the following activities are offered - creative arts, baking, games, movies and Bible study.  All children present participate in Bible study when offered.  All other recreational activities are optional.  Snacks are provided each day.

E.S.S. hours are from 2:25 pm - 6:00 pm every school day.  We offer E.S.S. when there are only half days of school and on many days during the school year when school is not in session.  Please check with the Director regarding dates when full-day E.S.S. is avaialble.  On full days, breakfast and a snack are provided.  Full payment will be required in advance to secure a position for half-day or full-day E.S.S.

The rate for school year 2007-2008 will be $5.00 per hour per child.  Discounts will be given per hour for additional children.  A minimum of $5.00 will be charged for children staying one hour or less.  The registration fee will be $25.00 per family.

If you need financial assistance with E.S.S., please call Jennifer Laystrom.  They will be more than willing to work with you on this matter.

We feel that we have created a safe, friendly, fun and educational environment for the students. If you have any questions regarding this program, please do not hesitate to call 847-359-1990 extension 106 or email jenniferlaystrom@ilcp.org.
