Obviously when we first enter the church before Mass we see people we might not have seen all week. Sometimes we share news with them or greet them briefly. This is understandable. However, some people come early to church to pray, reflect on the readings for the Mass, etc. Please be aware that these individuals do appreciate this “quiet time” before Mass. We ask that you not conduct prolonged conversations in church prior to Mass.
After Mass, again, we wish to be courteous to others. Sometimes we may need to speak briefly with them. However, some people do remain in the church after Mass to pray silently. Please be aware and respect their needs. Please do not conduct prolonged and loud conversations in church after Mass.
