One of the ways we support our church is by offering our time and talents in support of the church.
Sometimes people WANT to help, but don't know where to start. There are a few things to consider:
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
God has made each of us differently, and given us each unique gifts to be used to help grow the church. You may have a good idea what your spiritual gifts are - perhaps administration, or prayer, or teaching, or helping, or ..... But if you don't have a clear understanding of your personal spiritual gifts, this website will give you a questionnaire inventory to help you assess your gifts.
PASSIONS
Some people have an absolute passion for working with children, or with senior adults; a passion for worship or for education; or a passion for helping those who are needy. Think for a minute about your passions, and let them help guide the direction of your volunteer activities.
AVAILABILITY
Some people are only truly available on Sunday mornings. Others may be available during the week, either in the daytime or in the evening. Assessing your availability will help provide another dimension for selecting a volunteer activity.
PRAYER
Ask God to help you think about how you can best serve God's church and God's people!
