WoRM Sunday School

Our SUPER Sunday school is based on the WoRM (Workshop Rotation Model) principle. This is a research-based methodology of teaching that offers creative, media-inspired, kid-pleasing workshops to teach children Bible stories.
Most rotations are one month long and focus on the unique learning styles of children. Children learn Bible stories while experiencing a new media or learning technique each week in a different workshop. The workshops may include art, drama, music, movies, computers, puppets, Bible study, geography, science and cooking.
Through exciting workshops that children want to attend, Bible stories come alive for the children and become part of their own Christian growth.
Children remember what they have studied in depth. They understand the Bible stories after experiencing each story through different methods of teaching that address the various ways children learn. Children not only love repetition, but they need it to develop a lasting memory and understanding of content.
Children are motivated to learn and remember by reinforcement, curiosity and novelty while setting high expectations of themselves. Learning and memory are also intensified through their senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch.
