CARE CLEARINGHOUSE
A short-term, limited commitment for members of our congregation to give as well as receive.  The KUMC Care Clearinghouse matches member needs with member talents for a variety of services.  Volunteers are usually called on in times of crisis, death, hospital stays, or any other short-term need to make a meal, provide a ride, care for a child, etc.

MEALS FOR NEWBORNS
Join a new team to help provide a home-cooked meal to support our church families with new babies.  What a great way to help keep them connected to our church family during the busy time in their lives.  Ministry members will make and deliver meals a few times a year.  If you are interested in joining this team, contact Debbie Dillon at 314-909-9548.

STEPHEN MINISTERS
Stephen Ministers are lay people extensively trained in the ministry of Christian care-giving and support for people who are facing various crises in their lives, such as terminal illness, grief, hospitalization, job crisis, spiritual crisis, separation or divorce, birth, adoption or disabilities - people needing the support of a Christian friend.  Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry where those receiving care can be sure their identity and what goes on in the caring relationship will remain private.  Through this program, a strong and supportive ministry team is built between pastors and lay people who together bring God's care to others.  Training sessions are held in the fall, every other year.
