The KUMC Book Club is open to men and women from the community and KUMC.
The selection of books for the year is made by the persons present at its January meeting. Using a formula to keep reading diverse, the group chooses 11 books for the remainder of the year, ideally including at least one each of fiction, biography, autobiography, classic, bestseller, non-fiction, general fiction, and spiritual. The book discussions are led by group members who volunteer for a particular month.
The book club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. at the church.

- May 13 - Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.
- June 10 - Nothing To Do But Stay by Carrie Young.
- July 8 - Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult.
- August 12 - The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman.
- September 9 - My Antonia by Willa Cather.
- October 14 - River of Doubt by Candice Millard.
- November 11 - Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum.
- December 9- The Faith Club by Idliby, Oliver, Warner.
