Moms and More provides a unique opportunity for women with children 6 years and older to continue their journey of motherhood. It’s a safe place for women to come and share the joys and frustrations of motherhood, and to explore the purposes and promises God gives to parents regardless of whether you’re married or single. It provides an oasis from the frenzied life of a busy mom.
Moms and More can help you become:
- Equipped for parenting through biblically based instruction.
- Encouraged by sharing with other moms who are confronting similar challenges.
- Energized by the loving support of both experienced moms and your own peers.
Moms and More focuses on some of the core essentials of parenting, as well as your own personal development. It is designed to stimulate discussion and offers tangible applications for your families. It is our hope that Moms and More will cultivate relationships among women here at La Casa, providing a resource for encouragement and growth.
Because of the diverse needs of women, we are offering Moms and More on:
Monday nights from 7:00pm-8:30pm
and
Tuesday mornings from 9:30am-11:00am
The cost is $100.00 for the year. For as little as $7.70 per class you will receive a binder, listen to great speakers, engage in lively discussions, renew your spirit, and further your quest to be the best as a Mom and More!

Homework Hut for the Kids in the Evening!
Childcare in the Nursery!
HOMEWORK HUT: On Monday nights, bring your children (5yrs. & up) to Homework Hut, where trained staff (off-duty teachers) are available to help do homework, play games, or just hang-out. There is no fee involved.
CHILDCARE: Both on Monday nights, and Tuesday mornings, childcare in the nursery is available for children 0-5 years. The fee is $5.00 per child.
ALSO, A BIBLE STUDY FOR JUNIOR HIGH GUYS & GIRLS:
All 7th and 8th graders are invited to participate in a study being held the same time as Moms and More. You can attend your Bible study and bring your kids to a study of their own. Amy Anderson & Neil Gatten will lead the group.
Each week they’ll talk about a topic relevant to junior high life, such as: parents, friends, school, self-image, and of course….making our relationship with God the very first priority. They’ll also have lots of fun along the way! They meet as one big group at the beginning of the night, and then break up into a guy’s small group and a girl’s small group.
