Joe M. Wilson is Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care at Ladue Chapel. Joe, who is a native of Texas, was previously the Director of Pastoral Care at Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont Pennsylvania, the Director of Pastoral Care at Harris Hospital HEB in Dallas/Fort Worth, and Director of Pastoral Care at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Wilson, NC. He also served in the U.S. Air Force with the American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS).
Joe received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa, and a Master's degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Care from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois.
Joe is married to Noelle, a registered nurse. Together they have four daughters, one son, grandchildren and three beloved dogs - two golden retrievers, Bailey & Ginger, and a yellow lab, Riley.
Joe is a sports fanatic enjoying baseball, hockey and especially college and pro-football. He also enjoys movies, music, antiquing and spending time with his dogs.
Joe's responsibilities include spiritual leadership and pastoral care for Ladue Chapel. He offers leadership to the Board of Deacons and Stephen Ministers, and is a member of the Session (the governing board of our congregation). Joe regularly participates as liturgist and preacher.
