OUR VISION FOR LIFEGROUPS
We are so excited about what God is doing in The Mission Church! Our services are filled with His glory, souls are being saved regularly, and people are growing in the knowledge of His Word. We give God the glory for the great things He has done. With each new person who joins our church comes the need for that person to learn the Word of God and develop meaningful, supportive relationships with other believers. In fact, whether or not people get connected in godly relationships often determines how long they remain in the church—or even if they remain in Christ! For this reason, we are excited to announce the launch of our SPRING LIFEGROUP SEMESTER.
What are LIFEGROUPS? They are small groups of people doing life together for the glory of God. Whether it’s a class in DeSha Hall learning from the book of Hebrews, a homegroup studying the Fruit of the Spirit, or new friends sitting around the kitchen table discussing Sunday's message, LIFEGROUPS are an excellent way for us to connect with others and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ in a more personal, interactive setting.
This was the pattern of the New Testament church. Acts 2:46-47 tells how the believers fellowshipped from “house to house” (small groups) and the Lord added daily to the church. The Bible also teaches that believers are a part of a spiritual community called the Body of Christ. As members of that “Body” we should connect with others, support one another, pray together, grow together and serve Christ together in unity.
Please review our offering of LIFEGROUPS and prayerfully consider joining one today! This is an excellent way for you to grow in your knowledge of the word and develop healthy, spiritually empowering relationships with other believers. Let’s to get back to the reality that we are called into relationship with one another—to bear one another’s burdens, grow together in Christ and serve one another in love.
