Background

Terry Fleming has been with McKendree UMC since June of 2001. He was raised in the small town of Hogansville, Georgia where his father was a supervisor at the Uniroyal Plant. Terry recounts "In my memory it lives still as a Mayberry-esque place, complete with peaceful Sunday afternoons, my grandparents' farm, and colorful, peaceful characters." At the age of sixteen, God called Terry to preach in the Methodist church. He attended Asbury College, receiving a degree in speech communication and also attended Asbury Theological Seminary for a time. It was while he was there that he met his wife, the former Carol Jordan of Haddonfield, NJ. Terry completed his Master of Divinity work at Candler School of Theology. Since 1985 he has been serving appointments in the North Georgia Annual Conference.

Family

Terry is married to Carol Jordan Fleming. They have two children.

Hobbies

Carol is an accomplished seamstress, who has done everything from English smocking to quilting. Terry enjoys reading, running, games, and a bit of everything.
