Background

Rebecca has attended McKendree since October 2003 and has been on staff since January 2005. Rebecca's mother is a retired special education teacher and her father is a lawyer. She is the youngest of five girls. Rebecca grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina and later attended the University of Georgia, where she double-majored in Music Education and Music Therapy. Rebecca has taught both public and private school music classes to all ages. She has found most joy, however, in working with children and handbell/chimes programs in church ministry.

Family

Rebecca is proudly married to Eric Willoughby, who is the Band Director at Peachtree Ridge High School. She also has two wonderful children.

Hobbies

Rebecca enjoys being a homeschool mom, which takes up most of her time and attention, when not focusing on Ministry thru Music at McKendree. Beyond mothering and music, Rebecca enjoys to scrapbook, read, and go camping.
