Joe Palmer's Bio
Joe has been at McKendree since July 2006, coming on board to help lead the middle school portion of the Student Ministries. He was born in a small town in Pennsylvania, and lived around there for the first 22 years of his life before packing up and moving to Atlanta to attend seminary at the Candler School of Theology after completing his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Albright College. Joe will be a May graduate at Candler and is looking forward to joining the staff of McKendree full-time this summer.

Hobbies

Joe loves to read, listen to music, explore places he has never been, and do anything that involves technology.

Scripture

It’s hard for Joe to pick one scripture that is his life-verse, but one that really means a lot to him is Micah 6:8: “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

I really think that this shows us the good life that God has laid before all of us, and helps us see that living the life God desires is one of justice, mercy, and following in God’s footsteps.
