Hello! Welcome in Jesus’ name to this community of faith!
We are glad you are here: our desire as a community is to help you connect with God and people, and to grow in following Jesus and serving him in your everyday life.
|
| |
We believe our relationships are so significant in growing and living out our faith. We know that the childhood years are so key in our over all well being, and life long emotional, relationship and spiritual formation happens from birth to age 10. If you wonder what is available to help your family and children infant-6th grade connect, grow and serve, please check out the children’s web page. You will find family opportunities (like parenting classes, marriage encouragement, and personal growth and understanding through Christ Life Solution) listed under Adult opportunities. |
| |
We also believe our relationships within the Body of Christ are so significant in our living out those words of Jesus to “love God and love one another.” To that end, you will find many ways people here sincerely live out those words as they pray and care for one another: from prayer chains, to after service prayer, to care groups that provide encouragement and support during life’s difficulties, ie grief and loss, depression, to classes and seminars that help us grow in understanding and praying and caring.
|
| |
I welcome your call/email if you have any questions about ways to connect yourself or family/children through the ministries listed above.
Know that the love of God, the mercy of Jesus and the presence of the Holy Spirit is with you today.

A little background: I actually joined Meredith Drive Reformed Church in 1975 with my family, appreciating its strong Biblical preaching, adult and kids Sunday School, and caring people. In life within this congregation, I experienced a pastoral call and became a part of MDRC's staff as a lay associate in 1986 in the areas of congregational care and children and family ministry. I entered an in-ministry seminary program through Bethel Seminary in Minneapolis that combined ministry and study and was the one of the first people in the Reformed Church in America to be ordained through this alternative experiential route. Within the RCA I have served on the Spiritual Gifts Task Force and I am currently a member of the Western Theological Seminary Board. |

I am married since 1969 to Jerry Brown. We give God thanks for our children. We cherish our time with our daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Mike, and granddaughters Neriah and Rinnah, and our son Ben, daughter-in-law Jill, grandson Jacob, and granddaughter Teagan |
