Brightwood Community Center, Inc.
Connecting resources so that children in our neighborhoods have a safe haven, receive a healthy meal, gain confidence in their academic education with nurturing and caring mentors to guide them. Email

East Tenth UM Children & Youth Center, Inc.
Resourcing a community ministry that reaches the families in East Tenth Street Community by providing affordable daycare & after-school programs. Email

Fletcher Place Community Center INC
Partnering with the Art in the City summer program where children come to engage in different art media and special projects. Email

Impact: Families connect with other offered services and new programs – providing them with food, clothing, and exposure to the arts.

Vida Nueva UM Ministries
Supporting Spanish Curriculum developed to be usable for decades to come as children learn about Old and New Testament Bible Stories. Teacher training goes along with the program to equip and prepare teachers to provide classes for children. Email

Impact: Children will have fun, spiritually deep, coordinated and ongoing classes which are also open to their friends.

 

Other Partnerships

Castleton UMC SHARE-LT
Partnering with a ministry that deliberately reaches out to disadvantaged and under resourced youth outside the church community. Email

Impact: Participants gain greater confidence, become better citizens, contribute to their community and are better able to articulate their needs and wants.

Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity
Connecting with the community in order to provide people in need with life-changing opportunities to own their own homes. Email

Impact: Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

Lawrence UMC Youth Corps
Connecting with a Central District church which provides leadership development to teenagers through service projects in their community, building teamwork & leadership skills. Email

Impact: Students provide hope for the community through their service while becoming committed leaders.

Neighborlink Indy
Partnering with a ministry out of Meridian Street UMC that provides home repairs to senior citizens and homeowners with disabilities. Email

Connect through their email to Volunteer.

Impact: Senior citizens and homeowners with disabilities are able to live healthily, happily, and safely in their homes.

Roberts Park Soup’s On
Resourcing churches by connecting to volunteers, sharing the ways we can be outwardly focused in our community. Each week different teams of volunteers serve a hot meal to hundreds. Email

Impact: The hungry are fed with physical and spiritual food, as well as fellowship.
