METRO MINISTRIES, INC. MINISTRY GRANT CRITERIA
In order to qualify for a Metro Ministries, Inc. 2019 Ministry Grant, your program or project must meet the following criteria:
- Project or program must have primary focus in one of these areas:
- Leadership Development
- Risk-taking Mission and Service
- Engaging in Ministry with the Poor
- Must have plan for self-sustainability for the project or program:
- Metro Ministries, Inc. grants are intended to help initiate new programming or enhance existing programming.
- Metro Ministries, Inc. will consider continued funding of a project or program up to a maximum of four years, with grantee re-applying each year where funds are to be requested.
- Must have a demonstrable funding model, as Metro Ministries generally does not provide 100% funding.
- Project or program must serve individuals and/or communities within the Central District (Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, and Shelby counties).
- While preference will be given to faith-based organizations, any qualifying organization will be considered.
- Metro grants are intended for programming expenses, not direct salary expenses.
