The U.S. Census Bureau has reported that the number of Americans living in poverty is at its highest level in 51 years. Therefore, Convoy of Hope, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, & the National Women’s Department of the Assemblies of God are partnering to provide breast cancer early detection services to women in America who cannot afford them. Through a 24-month Compassion Tour, life-saving early protection services will be available in every state. This tour will be in North Carolina in late 2012 or 2013. Our giving will help finance early detection services for women in NC who attend the Compassion Tour. We will also have the opportunity to volunteer to serve on site for these Love in Motion outreaches.

Miss Gethzial is in her first year of studies at AG Central Bible College in New Delhi, India. She is majoring in Bible and Theology and is currently involved in children’s and care cell ministries. Her future plans are to be a missionary in Bihar, North India which is predominantly Hindu and Muslim. Our giving will help her prepare for ministry by providing tuition for her Bible college studies.

North Carolina Women in Ministry                                         $1,500

Women with a passion for ministry need to connect with each other for the purpose of enhancing leadership and ministry skills. This money will be used to facilitate such a connection for North Carolina Women in Ministry.

HeartMenders                                                                          $12,000

HeartMenders touches the lives of North Carolina’s Assembly of God ministers’ widows through financial support. In addition to providing immediate assistance upon the death of their husbands, financial gifts are also provided on birthdays, Mother’s Day, and Christmas.

Mpact Girls Clubs                                                                    $ 4,000

These are finances set aside as expenditures associated with ministry to girls involved in the North Carolina MPact Girls Clubs. It helps offset the cost of leadership development for MPact Sponsors and travel expenses for the District Girls Ministries Coordinator.

NC Women’s Ministries                                                          $16,000

This account makes provision for the expenses of ministering to the women of North Carolina through leadership development, discipleship and media (such as mailings, e-newsletter, DVDs, and other promotional materials). It also provides travel expenses for the Women’s Ministries Leadership Team as they develop relationships with local leaders.
