CARE MINISTRIES

Care Ministries is about connecting with people and learning to love them on purpose. We believe that everyone who visits our services is an answer to our prayers. Each week we pray that God will bring those to New Hope Fellowship that need a touch from Jesus Christ in their lives.

From the moment you are greeted at the door, assisted by the Welcome Center staff and welcomed into the sanctuary by a Care Ministry Member, you will know that we are eager to connect with you. Care Ministry Members are also available following each service to pray for your individual needs.

Our method is “Speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). Find a need and fill it. Find a hurt and heal it. As we fulfill our mission, we ask you to pray about connecting with our church family and allowing us to connect with you. At New Hope we endeavor to develop relationships that will last for eternity.

Connect with this ministry. Be a part of a vibrant ministry helping our church body share life with each other while helping individuals connect to Jesus Christ through service and compassionate outreach. Training and mentoring are available to help you discover your gifts and find a place to use them to honor God.

If you would like to volunteer for Care Ministries, there is a place for you.

PRAYER MINISTRIES

Our Prayer Ministry is a reflection of our commitment to care for one another and our community. James 5:13 asks, “Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Feel free to contact us with your needs for prayer.

PASTORAL CARE MINISTRIES

At New Hope Fellowship our Pastoral Staff is committed to teaching the Word of God. Another very important aspect of pastoring is shepherding those who attend our church, the flock, which involves tending to needs, strengthening the weak, encouragement, restoring, and leading by example. If you are in need of financial, family, or spiritual counseling, hospital or home visitation …. contact the church office.

CARING ENOUGH TO CONNECT

Here at New Hope we are about connecting. Our symbol, a compass with a cross through the center, is a picture of the first and most important connection. It is made with Christ by means of His cross. All other connections naturally flow from the first. We connect with the Church He is building and with the calling He has for each of us as His disciple. Our mission as a church, and as followers of Jesus Christ, leads us out into our community to love and to share the Good News with our friends and neighbors. The cross is the key to true connection and gives us proper direction in our lives. This symbol helps our New Hope family remember these vital relationships.
