Planning for Salvation

Thinking

Plan of Salvation
Are You 100% Sure?
Are you 100% sure that you will go to Heaven when you die?

We all must die some day.  Since we will spend eternity somewhere, it is important that we know where that will be.  It will either be in Heaven or Hell.  You can know for sure that it will be in Heaven.

We were created to have fellowship with God.  When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, that fellowship was broken.  God did not want that fellowship to remian broken, so He promised Adam and Eve and all their descendents that He would provide a sacrifice to pay man's sin debt.

Almost 2,000 years ago God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to earth to die on the cross to pay the price for our sins.

To enjoy the benefits of God's provision, we must do what the Bible says.  Read what the Bible says about how you can be saved and know it.

No one can live good enought to be saved on their own.  The Bible tells us in Romans 3:12 "...there is none that doeth good, no, not one."  The Bible also makes it very clear that everyone has sinned.  In Romans 3:23, we read "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

The Bible is also clear that there is a very severe penalty for sin.  In Romans 6:23, we read, "The wages of sin is death...".  Because we are sinners, we all deserve the second death, which is hell.  God does not want us to go to hell, so He made a provision for us by sending His only begotten Son to die on the cross in our place.  The first part of Romans 6:23 tells us that "The wages of sin is death...", but the last of the verse tells us "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God has made the gift of salvation available to everyone.  It is up to every individual to accept that gift and receive it by trusting God for salvation and asking Him for His free gift.  Romans 10:13 tells us, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  Wouldn't you like to take God at His word and claim His promise for your salvation?  All of the expenses were paid by Christ.  He died for your sins.  All you must do is bow in prayer and ask God for His gift.  If you truly realize your need for a Savior, and want to be saved, simply pray the following prayer:  "Lord, be merciful to me a sinner...forgive my sins and save my soul...I now accept Jesus as my Savior."  If you prayed this prayer for Salvation and really meant it, you are saved.  Tell someone about it right now.  Call someone or feel free to contact our church.
